AL Ahly Momken Partners with Post Distribution CO-PDC to Expand Financial Inclusion Across Egypt

AL Ahly Momken, an Egyptian electronic payment and fintech company, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Post Distribution CO-PDC, a subsidiary of the National Postal Authority specializing in franchise branch management. This partnership aims to expand financial inclusion and accelerate digital transformation across Egypt’s governorates by establishing and operating a new network of branches delivering integrated financial and digital services.

The agreement was formalized by Ahmed Enayet, CEO and Managing Director of AL Ahly Momken, and Ahmed Faiz, Managing Director of Post Distribution CO-PDC, in a ceremony attended by senior executives from both organizations. The collaboration supports Egypt’s Vision 2030 for sustainable development and focuses on extending digital financial services to remote and underserved areas lacking traditional banking access.

Ahmed Enayet highlighted the alignment of this partnership with AL Ahly Momken’s mission to foster financial inclusion and digital outreach. “We are proud to collaborate with Post Distribution CO-PDC, whose extensive franchise branch management expertise enables us to deliver outstanding and seamless customer services nationwide,” he said.

Ahmed Ghazy, Deputy CEO and Chief Commercial Officer of AL Ahly Momken, shared that the first phase includes launching two branches in Cairo and Port Said, with gradual expansion planned across all governorates. Branches will offer a comprehensive suite of services such as e-wallet openings, Know Your Customer (KYC) verification, payment collection for individuals and companies, and various non-banking services — all delivered within a secure digital environment.

Ahmed Faiz from Post Distribution CO-PDC emphasized the company’s 15+ years of experience managing franchise branches across Egypt. He expressed pride in the partnership, highlighting the operational network and logistical infrastructure that will ensure efficient branch management and a high-quality customer experience. “This partnership reflects the trust placed in Post Distribution CO-PDC by leading institutions and supports the state’s mission to deliver services even to remote villages and centers,” he stated.

Faiz also noted Post Distribution CO-PDC’s extensive geographic reach and capacity for rapid expansion through branch openings and qualified personnel recruitment as key success factors. He concluded, “We are committed to delivering exceptional service, supporting Egypt’s vision of building a modern, inclusive digital economy, and strengthening the country’s position as a regional hub for financial and technological innovation.”
