Oman’s Ministry of Transport, Communications, and IT Welcomes 55 Startups to Second Nomu Programme Cohort

Muscat – The Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology (MTCIT) has selected 55 promising technology startups for the second edition of the Nomu Programme, designed to accelerate early-stage company growth. At an introductory session on Wednesday, startups were introduced to the programme’s comprehensive support, including workshops, personalized consultations, marketing assistance, and business development opportunities.

Key partners such as the Madar platform and the Capital Market Incentive Programme presented tools and resources available to participants. The event also featured interactive dialogues with alumni startups from the first Nomu cohort, allowing knowledge exchange and mentorship.

Ministry officials emphasized the programme’s role in fostering a thriving startup ecosystem by equipping companies with the skills and resources needed to scale locally and regionally. Nomu targets startups that possess functional prototypes, a proven user base, and initial funding to ensure readiness for accelerated growth.
