HP, a global technology leader, is significantly strengthening its footprint in Egypt with the opening of a new office in Cairo and plans to expand its local teams over the next three years. This expansion aims to meet the increasing demand for technology solutions that foster business agility, talent development, and inclusive economic growth in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030 and the Digital Egypt Strategy.
The company’s growth plans were highlighted during a channel partners event in Cairo, which gathered 250 local and international stakeholders to discuss how HP’s broad portfolio of solutions can drive innovation and digital transformation across multiple sectors. Helena Herrero, President of HP Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa, noted, “Egypt has set a clear direction with Vision 2030 and the Digital Egypt Strategy – putting technology, education, and innovation at the center of national development. This creates a strong environment for companies like HP to support national goals through technology, skills development, and innovation.”
HP’s strategic focus includes expanding digital access, modernizing education, and preparing a future-ready workforce through secure hybrid infrastructures, AI-enabled devices, and advanced printing technologies. These tools support the evolving needs of flexible, digitally connected workplaces in Egypt.
“With the largest portfolio of solutions across personal systems, printers, collaboration systems, peripherals, and services, HP is uniquely positioned to bring the benefits of AI to businesses and employees. One of our strengths is our vast ecosystem of industry-leading and distribution partners, enabling us to offer superior user experiences,” Herrero added.
By expanding its local operations, HP seeks to empower individuals, partners, and enterprises to build a digitally skilled workforce that supports Egypt’s broader ambitions. The company aims to strengthen digital infrastructure, foster SME growth, and improve technology access in both the public and private sectors.
