Robi Axiata PLC has introduced a pioneering service offering free 24/7 online medical consultations for its Hajj roaming subscribers. Pilgrims using Robi’s Hajj roaming packs can now consult certified doctors via video call at no additional cost through the digital health platform ‘Shukhee,’ eliminating the need to visit crowded health camps during the pilgrimage.
The service is available to all users of Robi’s Hajj roaming packs, accessible via both app and website, supporting consultations in Bangla and English. Pilgrims who purchase special Hajj roaming packs priced at Tk 1,798 or Tk 2,198 automatically gain access to this healthcare feature.
Sihab Ahmad, Robi’s Chief Commercial Officer, emphasized, “True connectivity goes beyond data and voice—it includes care. With this new feature, we’re honored to support our customers during one of the most meaningful journeys of their lives. This is the first time such a service has been introduced in Bangladesh’s telecom sector.”
Additionally, Robi customers can now use the Deen app to track the real-time locations of their loved ones performing Hajj, alleviating concerns and uncertainty about their safety during the sacred pilgrimage.
