Globant Launches Middle East Regional Headquarters in Riyadh to Drive AI-Powered Digital Transformation

Globant, a digitally native company dedicated to reinventing businesses through innovative technology, has officially opened its Middle East Regional Headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Having entered the region less than three years ago, this new milestone underscores Globant’s commitment to expanding its presence and spearheading digital reinvention in the Middle East. The company aims to harness cutting-edge AI solutions and digital customer experiences, powered by the unique cultural insight and expertise of local talent.

Martín Migoya, Co-founder and CEO of Globant, stated, “Reinvention is at the heart of Globant’s identity. Opening our new Middle East HQ in Riyadh allows us to contribute meaningfully to Saudi Arabia’s reinvention journey. Since our initial executive visit less than three years ago, we have witnessed the promise of the Kingdom’s dynamic and youthful talent — a key driver for growth in its emerging, innovative economy.”

The Middle East’s digital transformation market is experiencing rapid growth, with Globant reporting an 84.4% year-over-year revenue increase in the Middle East & APAC region for Q1 2025.

With this dedicated hub, Globant plans to accelerate AI-driven innovation across major sectors such as Media and Entertainment, Travel and Leisure, Financial Services, and Gaming. To support this vision, the company will invest in training local IT professionals through best-in-class AI programs, developing them as AI Architects and AI Engineers capable of delivering advanced AI-first solutions, including supervised agentic workflows.

Federico Pienovi, CEO & CBO of New Markets at Globant, commented, “Our new hub enables us to better serve leading regional organizations by leveraging our AI, data, and cloud expertise across diverse industries. As our Centre of Excellence grows, we will export global best practices and talent, positioning Saudi Arabia as a thriving global technology hub.”

Mamdouh Aldoubayan, Managing Director for MENA at Globant, added, “Today marks a significant step in driving change and shaping a future where technology and human progress coexist. Riyadh’s vibrant tech ecosystem offers an exceptional platform for us to demonstrate leadership in digital transformation, support Saudi Vision 2030, nurture local talent, and build long-lasting partnerships.”

The new headquarters, located in Building 1.15 at King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), also features Globant’s third global “Playground” — an interactive space designed to connect Middle East tech leaders with the future of innovation. Following successful launches in São Paulo and Los Angeles, the Playground offers immersive experiences that combine technology, sports, AI, and customer engagement. Highlights include “The Perfect Pit Stop,” a sci-fi VR challenge where participants work as a Formula 1 pit crew, along with dynamic basketball and soccer simulators for visitors to test their skills.
