Alghanim Industries (Kutayba Alghanim Group), one of the MENA region’s largest privately-owned companies, has entered a landmark agreement with SpaceX’s Starlink, the world’s most advanced satellite internet provider. Through this partnership, Alghanim Industries becomes an official global channel partner and authorised reseller of Starlink’s cutting-edge low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellite constellation.
Starlink’s technology, recognized as the most sophisticated satellite internet system deployed to date, promises to break down connectivity barriers by delivering high-speed, low-latency internet anywhere—whether in bustling cities, remote desert camps, or open seas. To bring this innovation to millions, Alghanim Industries is launching Sama X, a bold new tech venture dedicated to rolling out Starlink’s services across the Middle East, North Africa, India, Turkey, Pakistan, and beyond.

Starlink has already secured regulatory approvals in Jordan, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, and Yemen, with Saudi Arabia authorizing its use in aviation and maritime sectors, signaling a new era of mobility and smart infrastructure in the region.
Starlink’s constellation comprises over 7,000 LEO satellites, delivering fiber-like speeds and ultra-low latency to more than 5 million users across 118+ countries. Operating closer to Earth than traditional satellites, this network enables seamless video calls, immersive gaming, smooth streaming, and critical business communications from virtually any location.
The technology is transforming various sectors, including healthcare (enabling telemedicine in rural clinics), manufacturing (supporting real-time diagnostics across supply chains), telecommunications (extending networks cost-effectively to underserved areas), education and employment (bridging digital divides), and maritime (providing high-speed internet to vessels worldwide).
