Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to strategic cooperation with the United Kingdom in aviation, space, and digital innovation. This commitment is supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
During a meeting in London with Farnborough International officials, preparations were reviewed for the eighth Bahrain International Airshow, scheduled for November 18–20, 2026, at Sakhir Air Base under royal patronage. The event is organised by Bahrain’s Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications and the Royal Bahraini Air Force, in cooperation with Farnborough International.
Dr. Shaikh Abdulla highlighted early preparations guided by His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Organising Committee, emphasizing the airshow’s role in cementing Bahrain as a regional aviation hub and global platform for technological innovation, investment, and partnerships.
Officials from Farnborough International praised the collaboration and the minister’s dedication to enhancing the strategic partnership, aiming to feature leading manufacturers, operators, and investors in aviation and space sectors aligned with global exhibition innovations.
