Orange Jordan, in partnership with iSystem, hosted an interactive workshop at the Orange Digital Center for Innovation to mark Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD). The event gathered 30 participants with disabilities, underscoring Orange Jordan’s commitment to digital inclusion through its “Differently Abled, Definitely Enabled” initiative.
Led by certified experts, the workshop provided hands-on training on smartphone accessibility features, including configuring devices, using VoiceOver, and exploring assistive apps. Participants also gained practical tips for iPhone use and engaged with inspiring content on digital accessibility and content creation.
Building on past efforts, including a similar 2018 event, Orange Jordan reinforced its dedication to empowering persons with disabilities in line with its Sustainable Development Goals. The company highlighted digital inclusion services like the SignBook app for sign language and the Digital Inclusion Catalogue.
The event also spotlighted 7th Circle Mall, recipient of the 2023 Gold Category “Accessible Buildings Award,” celebrating inclusive environments in Jordan.
Orange Jordan serves around 4.6 million customers with comprehensive digital solutions and is part of the global Orange Group, which operates in 26 countries and prioritizes responsible digital leadership and community service.
