Asiacell and China Mobile International Sign MoU to Enhance Telecom Solutions for Iraqi Enterprises

Iraqi telecom operator Asiacell has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China Mobile International (CMI) to collaborate on delivering advanced telecom and digital solutions for business-to-business (B2B) and enterprise services in Iraq.

The agreement, finalized on Monday, focuses on improving international connectivity and leveraging CMI’s technology expertise across multiple industry sectors. Both companies plan to combine resources to provide reliable, scalable, and innovative solutions that foster business growth and operational efficiency within Iraq.

Alex Lee, Managing Director of China Mobile International Middle East, stated, “Our shared vision for building a digitally connected world and leveraging advanced technologies aligns perfectly with the growth potential of this market.”

Asiacell CEO and MD Amer Sunna highlighted the partnership’s role in supporting Iraq’s broader digital transformation efforts. “This collaboration underscores our commitment to delivering world-class telecommunications and technology solutions that meet the evolving needs of businesses in the region,” he added.
