The announcement was made during a signing ceremony at BBK’s Manama headquarters, marking a significant step toward enhancing healthcare infrastructure in the region.

Contracts were awarded to Mohammed Jalal Contracting for construction and Adel Ahmadi Associates for project supervision. The centre will cover 9,713 square metres in a two-storey facility featuring 14 consultation clinics, 14 nurse examination rooms, and a 12-bed emergency department on the ground floor. The first floor will include a maternal and childcare unit, eight dental clinics, and dedicated administrative offices.

BBK Group CEO Yaser Alsharifi emphasized the project’s role in strengthening Bahrain’s healthcare services and its alignment with Bahrain’s Vision 2030. “This initiative underscores our commitment to social responsibility and aims to provide accessible, high-quality medical care to the residents of Galali and neighbouring communities,” he said.

Alsharifi also highlighted the health centre as a model of community care excellence and a vital addition to Bahrain’s healthcare network, reflecting BBK’s strategic vision for sustainable impact through meaningful partnerships and long-term investments.

Adel Ahmadi, representing Adel Ahmadi Associates, expressed pride in continuing the partnership with BBK, citing this project as a milestone following their successful collaboration on the Hidd health centre.

The project reinforces BBK’s dedication to corporate social responsibility and its ongoing support for Bahrain’s healthcare ecosystem.
