The digital transformation division of e& enterprise has announced a strategic agreement with UAE-based Exeed Industries to collaboratively develop an Industry 4.0 roadmap focused on modernizing Exeed’s manufacturing facilities. This multi-year partnership aims to advance digital capabilities across five Exeed Industries sites, enhancing production of building materials and supporting broader national modernization efforts.
Exeed Industries, a subsidiary of UAE’s National Holdings, specializes in producing precast and autoclaved aerated concrete products. The digital transformation initiative positions Exeed to benefit from the Abu Dhabi government’s Smart Manufacturing Accelerator Programme, which provides funding for innovation projects.
Key technologies targeted in the modernization plan include Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) integrated with AI and generative technologies, digital twins, predictive maintenance, and automation. AI applications will focus on demand forecasting, quality assurance, energy optimization, and embedding environmental, social, and governance (ESG) frameworks.
Majd Coussa, Acting Chief Revenue Officer at e& enterprise, described the MoU as “a model for how we aim to work with forward-looking manufacturers,” emphasizing the joint effort to develop scalable solutions aligned with the UAE’s innovation, sustainability, and economic diversification objectives.
