Omantel and GlobalTech Corporation have signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore collaboration opportunities in AI and Big Data services. This MoU signals both companies’ mutual intent to advance technological innovation in these critical domains.
While final agreements are yet to be formalized, the parties anticipate establishing a strategic revenue-sharing model that leverages Omantel’s robust infrastructure, extensive customer base, and competitive data services alongside GlobalTech’s expertise in AI and Big Data technologies.
The proposed partnership aims to create an AI-driven service vertical targeting sectors such as compliance, risk mitigation, fintech, retail, and human resources. This collaboration is expected to enhance GlobalTech’s AI capabilities, accelerate digital transformation initiatives, and drive revenue growth. Furthermore, it seeks to establish a sustainable framework for advancing AI and Big Data solutions, positioning Oman as a pivotal player in the global tech ecosystem.
Aligned with Oman Vision 2040, the initiative supports the nation’s goals of economic diversification and technological innovation. GlobalTech plans to introduce a comprehensive AI service portfolio that will help clients streamline operations, reduce costs, improve competitiveness, and foster employment and innovation within Oman.
