UiPath, a global leader in agentic automation, has named Sara Al-Alsheikh as Regional Vice President (RVP) and Managing Director overseeing Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain. Her appointment comes at a time of accelerating adoption of AI-powered automation across the Gulf region.
Based in Riyadh, Al-Alsheikh will spearhead UiPath’s go-to-market and customer success strategies across the three countries while managing the regional hub. Her mandate includes driving growth in critical sectors such as government, banking, and oil and gas, expanding UiPath’s partner ecosystem, and championing customer success in large-scale digital transformation projects.
The Gulf is witnessing rapid digital transformation with organisations embracing advanced automation technologies to boost operational efficiency and competitiveness. UiPath enables these efforts by integrating AI agents, software robots, and human collaboration to orchestrate sophisticated automation deployments.
Having joined UiPath in 2023 as Director of Public Sector and Public Investment Fund (PIF), Al-Alsheikh has demonstrated a strong track record in driving customer success in the region. Her elevation to RVP aligns with the Gulf’s Vision 2030 ambitions, supporting innovation, sustainable growth, and gender inclusion across the technology landscape.
With over a decade of experience at global tech giants including HP, IBM, and SAP, Al-Alsheikh exemplifies a new generation of Saudi leaders advancing innovation and inclusion in the region.
Zakaria Haltout, UiPath’s Area Vice President for the Middle East and Africa, praised her leadership: “Sara’s leadership is a strategic asset for UiPath and a symbol of what’s possible when talent, vision, and inclusion intersect. She brings invaluable regional insight and the drive to execute at scale, and we look forward to her leading our next chapter of growth.”
