European HR tech startup Nova has raised $3.65 million (EUR 3.2 million) in funding led by CDP Venture Capital, BY Venture Partners, and Doha Tech Angels. Founded in 2020, Nova builds a merit-based global talent community by rigorously vetting professionals from over 80 countries and industries to ensure high-quality, relevant connections.
The fresh capital will fuel Nova’s international expansion—particularly in key European capitals and the Middle East, where talent shortages present significant opportunities. Funds will also enhance Nova’s AI-driven matching algorithms and support development of Nova Recruiter, a SaaS B2B platform designed as a LinkedIn alternative to transform recruitment efficiency.
CEO and co-founder Andrea Marino emphasized that the investment validates Nova’s model and reflects growing demand for complementary platforms addressing career challenges and recruitment inefficiencies for highly qualified talent.
