Bahrain’s iGA Hosts Workshops to Launch 13th eGovernment Excellence Award 2025

The Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA) of Bahrain launched the 13th edition of the eGovernment Excellence Award 2025 with two virtual workshops in Arabic and English. Targeted at public and private sector organisations, NGOs, and individuals, the sessions aimed to familiarize participants with award categories, evaluation criteria, and participation guidelines ahead of the June 28, 2025 submission deadline.

The workshops form part of iGA’s wider campaign to promote innovation, digital transformation, and service quality enhancement in Bahrain, aligning with government goals to improve competitiveness, quality of life, and regional ICT prominence. Participants received detailed insights into award categories, such as Best Website, Best eParticipation, Best Integrated eServices, AI Utilization, and Best Digital Initiative for individuals, fostering engagement and submissions of innovative digital projects.

iGA emphasized the workshops’ role as an interactive platform for dialogue, questions, and knowledge exchange to encourage wider participation in the prestigious award.
