Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan and Qatar Charity Partner to Expand Mobile Healthcare Services

Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan and Qatar Charity have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance healthcare access in underserved and remote areas across Pakistan. Under the agreement, Qatar Charity will provide financial and technical support to 13 mobile health units operated by Alkhidmat Foundation.

The MoU was formalized during a visit by a Qatar Charity delegation, led by Country Director Amin Abdul Rahman, to Alkhidmat’s national headquarters in Lahore. The agreement was signed by Mr. Abdul Rahman and Alkhidmat Foundation Secretary General Syed Waqas Jafri, with key officials including Prof. Dr. Mohammad Zahid Latif, Chairman of Alkhidmat Health, Dr. Ejaz Nazir, National Director of Mobile Health Services, and Mr. Waqas Haleem, Director of Programs at Qatar Charity, in attendance.

Mr. Jafri highlighted Alkhidmat’s ongoing commitment to providing essential services such as healthcare, education, and emergency relief to marginalized communities. Prof. Dr. Latif underscored the critical role of mobile health units, which have served flood-affected and remote areas since 2022 by offering medical consultations, free medicines, lab testing, and primary healthcare to hundreds of patients daily.

Amin Abdul Rahman praised Alkhidmat’s nationwide impact and reaffirmed Qatar Charity’s dedication to supporting healthcare initiatives, emphasizing the shared vision that essential healthcare access is a fundamental right for all.
