VXI Announces $135 Million Expansion in Egypt, Plans to Create 4,000 New Jobs by 2028

American outsourcing firm VXI has revealed plans to invest $135 million to expand its operations in Egypt, aiming to increase its local workforce to 5,000 specialists by the end of 2028. The announcement was made during a visit by Egypt’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Amr Talaat, to VXI’s Cairo headquarters, alongside company executives including Global COO Ryan Collins and Chief People Officer Erika King.

Minister Talaat emphasized that supporting international outsourcing companies is a core part of Egypt’s strategy to boost digital exports and establish the country as a global hub for outsourcing services. He highlighted ongoing efforts to develop digital skills and provide incentives to attract and expand outsourcing centers.

Ryan Collins praised Egypt’s competitive operational costs, multilingual talent pool, and strategic location bridging Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He noted VXI’s rapid growth in Cairo as a testament to the quality of Egyptian talent and its ability to deliver scalable customer experience solutions.

The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) welcomed the expansion, viewing it as evidence of international confidence in Egypt’s economy and outsourcing sector. ITIDA CEO Ahmed El-Zaher noted that investments like VXI’s contribute to increasing digital service exports, creating specialized jobs, and transferring global expertise to the local market.

Since its establishment in Egypt in December 2023, VXI has been fully operational since March 2024, providing multilingual services to clients in Europe and the United States. Ahmed Bahgat, VXI’s Vice President for Egypt, Africa, and the Middle East, expressed appreciation for the government’s support, which has helped position Egypt among the top destinations for outsourcing investment.

Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Los Angeles, VXI employs over 43,000 specialists across 43 locations globally.
