Jazz, British Council, and Tech Valley Join Forces to Bridge Pakistan’s Digital Education Divide

In Islamabad, Jazz signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the British Council and Tech Valley, the exclusive Google for Education partner in Pakistan, launching a two-year collaboration to enhance digital education, capacity building, and social development nationwide. This initiative aims to bridge Pakistan’s educational and digital divides by leveraging Jazz’s extensive digital infrastructure, British Council’s global learning expertise, and Tech Valley’s innovative ed-tech solutions.

The partnership will focus on teacher training, youth skill development, and co-creating technology-driven education interventions targeting underserved communities. James Hampson, British Council Pakistan’s Country Director, highlighted the shared commitment to extending quality education across Pakistan. Syed Zaheer Mehdi, Jazz’s Group Chief Corporate and Regulatory Officer, emphasized the vision of an inclusive future where geography, gender, or circumstance do not limit educational access. Umar Farooq, CEO of Tech Valley, called the collaboration a game-changer, building a holistic learning ecosystem with scalable impact.

Together, the three organizations aim to unlock human potential and empower youth and women through accessible, tech-enabled learning aligned with Pakistan’s socio-economic development goals.
