Renault Technology Morocco (RTMA) is establishing a new engineering center at Tétouan Shore, bolstering the French automaker’s technological presence in Morocco. This center will lead vehicle renewal and development projects for Renault Group while supporting manufacturing operations within the country.
Operating across two sites—a headquarters at Tétouan Shore focused on advanced technologies and an integrated center within Renault’s Tanger factory—RTMA aims to foster synergy between engineering and industrial production. The Tétouan Shore facility will serve as a competency hub specializing in emerging “New Tech” innovations, creating a local ecosystem to address the automotive sector’s transformation.
This move strengthens Morocco’s reputation as a regional automotive engineering powerhouse, aligning with the nation’s industrial strategy to ascend the automotive value chain toward high-value engineering and design services. Renault’s investment underscores confidence in Morocco’s skilled workforce and technological capacity, contributing to the country’s goal of becoming a global and regional automotive hub.
