Turkey Supports Nearly 100 Tech Startups to Showcase Innovations at Global Entrepreneurship Events

Nearly 100 Turkish technology startups aiming to scale internationally will receive support to participate in major global entrepreneurship and tech events across Portugal, Finland, the United States, and Qatar, officials announced. Coordinated by Turkey’s Ministry of Industry and Technology, the initiative is part of the “National Technology Initiative” and implemented by regional development agencies including those in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, and Bursa.

The “Global Entrepreneurship Events Participation Call” program opened applications on June 4, closing July 1. Selected startups will gain opportunities to present innovations globally, engage directly with investors, build international partnerships, and access foreign markets.

Since 2022, each round has helped around 100 startups increase their international visibility and growth. Istanbul Development Agency Secretary General Ziya Taşkent emphasized the program’s role as a strategic platform beyond trade fairs, enabling startups to forge global collaborations and investor relationships.

Previous participants have achieved investment negotiations, overseas sales launches, and opened branches abroad. Eligible applicants must be Turkish-registered, tech-focused startups with scalable models and global ambitions. Selection is based on innovation, market readiness, funding, ecosystem support, and a short video pitch.

Winners will be announced in August to attend events scheduled for late 2025 and early 2026. Detailed program information and eligibility criteria are available on the official website.
