Orange Egypt’s Board of Directors has announced the appointment of Hesham Mahran as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, effective August 1, 2025. He will succeed Eng. Yasser Shaker, who steps into the role of Chairman of Orange Egypt after being named CEO of Orange Middle East and Africa.
With over 25 years of experience in telecommunications and IT, Mahran brings deep industry knowledge and leadership expertise to his new role. He most recently served as Chief Officer for the Business Sector at Orange Egypt, where he led enterprise strategy and spearheaded integrated telecom solutions for business clients.
Mahran played a leading role in the development of key digital infrastructure projects, including the establishment and operation of the New Administrative Capital’s Data Center. His appointment highlights Orange Group’s confidence in local leadership and reinforces its long-term commitment to the Egyptian market.
