Tecno recently unveiled the next-generation Spark Go 2 smartphone in Bangladesh, featuring design upgrades, improved durability, and a faster 120Hz IPS display. Shortly after its Bangladeshi debut, the device has now officially entered the Indian market and is anticipated to launch soon in Pakistan.
The Spark Go 2 sports a redesigned camera module and enhanced durability rated at IP64, offering better dust ingress protection and drop resistance compared to the previous Spark Go 1’s IP54 rating. Water resistance remains splash-level only.
Powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset, the device now supports AI-driven features branded as “Tecno AI,” including the new ELLA voice assistant replacing Folax, and active noise cancellation. The display sees an upgrade from 90Hz to a smoother 120Hz refresh rate, with a brighter IPS panel reaching 1300 nits. The screen remains 6.67 inches with HD+ 720p resolution.
Camera-wise, the rear setup includes a 13MP main sensor paired with a 0.08MP auxiliary lens, while the front camera offers 8MP for selfies. The phone comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, runs Android 15, and promises four years of lag-free firmware updates.
Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers with DTS support, a 5000mAh battery with 15W charging, and an IR blaster. The Tecno Spark Go 2 (4/64GB) is priced at $81 (~PKR 23,000), which is expected to be its price point in Pakistan upon arrival.
