It emphasizes personal growth, resilience, and the practical application of skills to enrich the internship experience.

For over 15 years, stc Bahrain has played a pivotal role in bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world corporate exposure, delivering over 80,000 hours of internship and summer training since 2010. The 2025 ‘EMERGE’ program features 22 interns, including dedicated allocations for the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) over the past two years, reflecting the company’s ongoing commitment to community development.

Fahad Alowaini, Chief Human Resources Officer at stc Bahrain, stated, “‘EMERGE’ is a true reflection of our commitment to nurturing and empowering young national talents. We are proud to provide impactful training that prepares Bahraini youth for the evolving job market. We look forward to the fresh ideas and positive impact our interns will bring.”

The two-month summer internship delivers comprehensive training across diverse fields, including corporate presentation development, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and design thinking. Interns benefit from a three-day specialized training on project management fundamentals provided by the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), aimed at enhancing effective project management skills. Additionally, a two-day iCAMP workshop by INJAZ Bahrain equips interns with essential leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

stc Bahrain has also forged strategic partnerships with several universities across the Kingdom, including the American University of Bahrain, British University of Bahrain, Royal University for Women, Euro University of Bahrain, Bahrain Polytechnic, and University of Bahrain. These collaborations ensure designated slots for summer and winter internships for students and employees alike.

The ‘EMERGE’ program exemplifies stc Bahrain’s dedication to cultivating the next generation of Bahraini talent and fostering a bright future for the nation’s dynamic workforce.
