Dubai-based telecom and digital services provider du was honoured with three awards at the FM Middle East 2025 and Innovation in Facilities Management 2025 Awards, recognizing its leadership in sustainability initiatives. The accolades highlight du’s impactful environmental contributions through energy-saving programs, waste management, and AI-driven technologies, aligned with the UAE’s Net Zero by 2050 goals.
du has implemented 169 solar-powered telecom sites and optimized cooling systems, achieving an 8.6 KtCO₂ reduction in emissions. Its sustainability efforts include a complete shift to digital invoicing, diverting 31% of waste from landfills, composting over 20,000 kg of food waste, and leveraging AI to reduce energy use in its Radio Access Network.
