GlobalTech Corporation, a specialist in AI and Big Data, and Omantel, Oman’s leading telecom provider, have signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore collaboration on AI and Big Data services. The partnership aims to leverage Omantel’s robust infrastructure and customer base alongside GlobalTech’s technological expertise to deliver AI-driven solutions across sectors such as compliance, fintech, retail, and human resources.
Mehdi Al Abduwani, Director at GlobalTech, emphasized the transformative potential of AI and Big Data for economic and business growth, expressing optimism about the collaboration’s ability to enhance their service offerings. Saleem Ahmed Abdullatiff, Vice President Enterprise at Omantel, highlighted Omantel’s commitment to accelerating Oman’s Digital Transformation through next-generation AI solutions.
Aligned with Oman Vision 2040, the planned partnership seeks to support economic diversification and technological innovation by introducing an AI service portfolio designed to help businesses modernize operations. While the MoU signals strong intent, the agreement is not final and remains subject to change.
