Egypt’s National Telecommunication Institute Launches Telecom Network Security Training Under Digital Egypt Youth – HireReady Initiative

Egypt’s National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) has announced a new specialized training track in Telecom Network Security as part of the Digital Egypt Youth – HireReady initiative. This program is designed to prepare recent graduates for in-demand careers in cybersecurity and telecommunications, addressing critical workforce needs in securing modern communication networks.

Developed in partnership with Cyshield, a leading cybersecurity solutions provider, the four-month training course offers practical, hands-on expertise in protecting telecom infrastructures spanning multiple generations—from legacy 2G and 3G systems to advanced 4G and 5G networks, including IMS and Open RAN technologies.

Participants will gain comprehensive instruction covering networking fundamentals, ethical hacking, Linux, Python programming, Docker containerization, and threat mitigation strategies tailored specifically for telecom environments. The curriculum includes intensive modules focused on safeguarding both legacy and next-generation network components, ensuring a well-rounded understanding of evolving security challenges.

The program targets graduates in engineering and computing fields who have completed their studies within the last five years, providing a rare opportunity to enter a rapidly expanding sector with strong demand in local and regional markets.

Applications close on July 4, 2025, with training scheduled to begin on July 19, 2025. Emphasizing real-world skills and professional qualification, this initiative is a key step in building Egypt’s cybersecurity talent pipeline to support its ongoing digital transformation agenda.
