Kuwait Credit Information Network Company (CINET), the country’s leading and sole provider of credit information and scoring, has launched an Internship Programme focused on building student and graduate capabilities in cybersecurity, data science, and fintech innovation.
The programme aims to empower young Kuwaiti talent with practical skills through field training, interdisciplinary workshops, and cross-departmental rotations, aligning with Kuwait’s digital future and CINET’s role as a fintech pioneer and trusted national institution. CINET recently enhanced its mobile app to provide real-time access to credit profiles, scores, and reports, reinforcing its commitment to accessible financial data.
The internship features two cohorts: a University Cohort for cybersecurity students from local and international scholarship programs, offering hands-on exposure in a real-world environment; and a High School Cohort introducing younger students to data science, aiding informed academic and career decisions.
Mai B. AlOwaish, CINET CEO, emphasized the company’s strategic vision to empower Kuwait’s economic and digital growth through skill development. Chief Human Resources Officer Sarah N. AlZaabi highlighted the programme’s role in nurturing national talent, fostering continuous learning, and shaping professionals who will drive sustainable growth and financial inclusion in Kuwait.
