Telecom Egypt Partners with KareXpert to Launch National Digital Healthcare Platform

Telecom Egypt has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KareXpert, a leading healthcare technology company powered by an AI assistant, to develop a comprehensive digital healthcare platform. This platform will operate through a secure national cloud hosted entirely within Egypt, marking a major advancement in the country’s digital healthcare landscape.

The platform integrates a Hospital Information Management System (HIMS) with unified electronic medical records and revenue cycle management solutions, providing hospitals with a consolidated view of clinical and administrative data. This integration aims to improve operational efficiency while aligning with global best practices.

This collaboration aligns with Telecom Egypt’s strategic vision to leverage technology and form high-value partnerships to deliver advanced digital solutions. Beyond its established high-speed connectivity and 5G networks, Telecom Egypt is expanding into secure national cloud services, AI, and IoT solutions that integrate with smart financial technologies. These efforts support Egypt’s Vision 2030 for sustainable digital transformation.

The MoU was signed during the “Africa Health ExCon 2025” conference in Cairo.

Mohamed Nasr, CEO of Telecom Egypt, stated, “We started by building a nationwide fibre-optic network, enhanced it with 5G, and formed strategic partnerships with global tech leaders. Our collaboration with KareXpert transfers our technical expertise into healthcare, offering hospitals a reliable platform that safeguards patient privacy and doubles operational efficiency, contributing to Egypt’s 2030 vision.”

KareXpert’s Founder and CEO, Nidhi Jain, expressed confidence in the partnership, citing their experience in India and other markets. She highlighted that Telecom Egypt’s network would enable faster market access and rollout, providing Egyptians with reliable and accessible healthcare services.
