A knowledge-based Iranian company has successfully developed a domestic 5G NR (5th Generation New Radio) system, expected to reduce data transfer latency and enhance security and system stability, according to Mehr News Agency, a TV BRICS partner.
The locally developed 5G system supports both SA (Standalone) and NSA (Non-Standalone) modes, enabling operators to deploy independent 5G networks without relying on 4G infrastructure. This advancement improves data speeds and enhances user experiences for streaming and online services.
The company emphasizes that adopting 5G is both a technical necessity and an economic imperative to sustain competitiveness and growth in Iran’s telecom sector. The system can be tailored for various industries including telecom operators, ICT firms, power plants, petrochemical companies, mines, and automotive manufacturers.
Looking ahead, the company highlights the importance of attracting investments to drive innovation, create jobs, and generate added value, aligning with Iran’s 1404 (2025-2026) development vision centered on “Investment for Production.”
