Telecom Egypt signed a Memorandum of Understanding with KareXpert, a leading AI-driven healthcare technology company, to deploy a comprehensive digital healthcare platform hosted on a secure national cloud in Egypt. The platform integrates a Hospital Information Management System (HIMS), unified electronic medical records, and revenue cycle management solutions, offering hospitals a consolidated view of clinical and administrative data to boost operational efficiency aligned with global best practices. KareXpert, backed by Reliance Jio, emphasizes seamless integration with existing medical systems and a unified digital payment path that simplifies billing while ensuring data privacy and regulatory compliance.
Hosted locally, the platform guarantees complete sovereignty over health data while enabling scalability for future AI and IoT applications. This collaboration supports Telecom Egypt’s strategy to expand beyond connectivity and 5G, delivering secure cloud services and innovative AI and IoT solutions as part of Egypt’s Vision 2030 for digital transformation.
Signed during the “Africa Health ExCon 2025” in Cairo, the partnership leverages Telecom Egypt’s nationwide fiber-optic and 5G network infrastructure alongside KareXpert’s extensive healthcare experience. KareXpert currently serves over 500 hospitals and medical centers across six countries, including major Indian healthcare providers, demonstrating strong operational and financial track records since 2021.
