ADAFSA Begins Cloud Migration to Drive Abu Dhabi’s AI-Native Digital Transformation by 2027

The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) has initiated a comprehensive transition of its services and infrastructure to cloud computing, aligning with the Abu Dhabi government’s vision of becoming a fully AI-native government by 2027, led by the Department of Government Enablement (DGE).

This strategic move aims to leverage cloud platforms to simplify operations, optimize resources, and foster innovation across Abu Dhabi’s agriculture and food safety sectors. ADAFSA’s cloud adoption will enhance operational efficiency, agility, and accessibility for stakeholders including farmers, food producers, and the wider community.

As part of Abu Dhabi’s digital strategy, over 40 government entities will integrate their digital infrastructure into a centralized hybrid, multi-cloud environment, with DGE providing guidance to overcome migration challenges. The cloud transition is expected to improve transparency, automate processes, reduce manual workloads, and strengthen data governance and security.

With scalable cloud infrastructure, ADAFSA will rapidly adapt to evolving needs, enable faster rollout of services, and build a foundation for advanced AI and machine learning integration. This will empower smarter inspections, predictive analytics, and enhanced decision-making, demonstrating ADAFSA’s commitment to cutting-edge technology in line with Abu Dhabi’s digital transformation agenda.
