Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison and Mastercard Partner with Indonesia’s Kemkomdigi to Launch Digital Literacy Training

Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison and Mastercard have extended their strategic collaboration with Indonesia’s Human Resource Development Agency for Communication and Digital (BPSDM Komdigi) under the Ministry of Communications and Digital (Kemkomdigi). They launched a digital literacy training module integrated into a Learning Management System (LMS) linked to the Digital Talent Scholarship (DTS) platform. This initiative aims to prepare one million Indonesian digital talents by 2029 through inclusive and accessible training across society.

Kemkomdigi’s DTS offers various modules ranging from basic to intermediate digital literacy and cybersecurity skills, focusing on practical applications for the general public and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Participants learn how to identify cyber risks, update security systems, create strong passwords, and avoid phishing and malware attacks. Training is delivered in Bahasa Indonesia, with certification upon completion.

This program builds on the earlier launch of the Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (COE) by Indosat and Mastercard, designed to raise public awareness of cybersecurity free of charge, reinforcing digital inclusion and national cyber resilience.

Boni Pudjianto, Head of BPSDM Komdigi, emphasized the government’s commitment to an inclusive, secure digital environment and preparing digital talents to support national economic growth. Irsyad Sahroni, Indosat’s Chief Human Resources Officer, highlighted the company’s dedication to digital education access, while Mastercard’s Country Manager Aileen Goh stressed the importance of cybersecurity awareness for national resilience.
