Zain has announced the launch of the second cohort of the 2025 edition of the Kuwait Codes initiative, continuing its strategic partnership with CODED Academy. The program now includes over 300 high school students and aims to enhance their digital skills for future readiness. The orientation session took place at the College of Life Sciences at Kuwait University – Shadadiya campus, with Hamad Al-Musaibeeh, Corporate Relations Department Manager at Zain Kuwait, meeting the students and reviewing the training plans.
This new phase introduces two key training tracks: Cybersecurity and Python programming with artificial intelligence technologies. This is the first time Python with AI has been included, recognizing Python’s global importance and its ease of learning for building technical capabilities.
The initiative builds on the success of previous seasons, focusing on creating a digitally aware generation capable of innovation across technology sectors. Kuwait Codes is recognized as a leading educational program offering professional and engaging programming skills development. The program aims to train 1,000 students in 2025 in diverse technical areas such as app development, website design, cybersecurity, and AI.
Zain’s involvement aligns with its corporate sustainability strategy, emphasizing youth empowerment and digital education. Beyond Kuwait Codes, Zain partners with CODED Academy on several programs including the girls-focused X Academy, the Kuwait Hackathon Challenge, and other training initiatives designed to prepare national talents for the future digital economy.
