Zong Launches “Z SAIS Cloud” to Propel Pakistan’s Digital Economy with Locally-Hosted Enterprise Cloud Platform

Karachi – Zong has introduced “Z SAIS Cloud,” a business-ready, enterprise-grade cloud platform hosted locally in Pakistan, aimed at accelerating the country’s transition toward a digital-first economy. The launch event in Karachi gathered over 150 industry leaders, senior executives, and technology professionals to showcase the platform’s capabilities and potential impact.

The event underscored the strategic importance of locally hosted cloud infrastructure in driving business transformation, enhancing digital sovereignty, and positioning Pakistan as a cloud-first economy. A highlight was the signing of nine strategic partnerships with prominent enterprises including Yango, Keenu, AGP Limited, and Kababjees, signaling broad industry trust in Z SAIS Cloud.

Keynote speakers Nadeem Hussain, a leading social impact entrepreneur in Asia, and Humayun Bashir, Dun & Bradstreet’s Country Advisor with over 40 years of corporate experience, emphasized the vital role of local cloud infrastructure in sustainable digital transformation.

A live demonstration showcased Z SAIS Cloud’s features such as one-window service activation, low latency, and a robust security framework. Attendees also experienced a virtual tour of Zong’s advanced data center, illustrating the platform’s scalability and reliability.
