Ncell has announced Aman Maharjan from Lalitpur, Kathmandu, as the winner of its inaugural League of Creators national talent hunt, earning a brand deal worth Rs 1 million for one year. The campaign, launched in collaboration with Uptrendly, was extended due to its popularity and aimed to discover and nurture digital content creators across Nepal.
Fifty top creators were selected by five mentors—Sanjog Koirala, Pratima Adhikari, Mr. Foodie Nepal, Parakram Rana, and Ekata Tandukar—and grouped for specialized training on content planning and creative strategy. Alongside Maharjan, runner-up Prabha Shrestha (“Mademoiselle Creator”) won a Rs 5 lakh brand deal; Manish Ruchel and Prashant Pandey secured third and fourth places with deals worth Rs 2.5 lakh and Rs 1 lakh respectively.
The winners were chosen by a jury including representatives from the U.S. Embassy, film industry, Ncell, and Uptrendly. Ncell’s Chief Commercial Officer, Umair Mohsin, expressed confidence that the support will empower emerging creators nationwide and thanked mentors for their contributions.
