du, a leading UAE telecom and digital services provider, has renewed its strategic partnership with Huawei to accelerate Emiratisation by equipping local talent with advanced technology skills. This collaboration reinforces du’s leadership in the digital and telecommunications sectors and supports the UAE’s national strategies for innovation and workforce development.

Building on a longstanding relationship centered on ICT infrastructure and network growth, the renewed agreement prioritizes upskilling du employees—including future leaders—in key areas such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, 5G, and cloud computing. These initiatives align with du’s digital transformation goals and aim to create a future-ready workforce.

du CEO Fahad Al Hassawi highlighted the shared commitment to nurturing a competitive talent pipeline empowered by world-class digital skills and driving technological excellence across the region.

Under the Joint Annual Training Plan (ATP), du and Huawei will deliver a range of training activities including Specialist Programs, Executive Leadership Programs, and ICT webinars to enhance technical capabilities at all levels and foster innovation.
