ACES India Partners with Bangalore Metro to Deploy Advanced 4G/5G Telecom Infrastructure

ACES India Private, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s Advanced Communications and Electronics Systems Company (ACES), has signed a strategic agreement with Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) to implement state-of-the-art telecom infrastructure across the Namma Metro network. Following a competitive bidding process and Letter of Acceptance earlier this year, ACES will deploy, operate, and maintain high-speed mobile connectivity across 62 metro stations spanning Phase 1 and Phase 2.

The project aims to provide reliable 4G and 5G coverage throughout both elevated and underground metro sections, enhancing the daily commute experience for over 300 million annual passengers. Utilizing a shared telecom infrastructure model, ACES will enable multiple operators to deliver seamless services via a single efficient system, reducing infrastructure duplication and lowering costs while ensuring high-quality networks and rapid rollout.

The 13-year partnership, with a possible two-year extension, supports India’s Digital India initiative and smart urban mobility by embedding digital readiness into public transport systems.

ACES is expanding its presence in India’s urban mobility sector, currently engaged in telecom projects at Bangalore International Airport, Mumbai Metro Line 3, Noida International Airport, Surat Diamond Bourse, Kanpur Metro, and Agra Metro.

Maheshwar Rao M, Managing Director of BMRCL, described the partnership as a vital step towards future-ready mobility, promising commuters uninterrupted connectivity and faster deployment of advanced telecom services.

Dr. Akram Aburas, Group CEO of ACES, highlighted India’s importance in their global growth strategy and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting digital transformation through robust telecom infrastructure.

Mohammed N. Mazher, Managing Director of ACES India, called the agreement a milestone in the company’s India journey and expressed pride in contributing a scalable, future-ready connectivity framework to Bangalore’s public transport.
