The Orange Group has officially appointed Eng. Yasser Shaker, current CEO of Orange Egypt, as Executive Vice President and CEO of Orange Middle East and Africa, effective July 1, 2025. This appointment, endorsed by the Orange MEA Board of Directors, also includes Eng. Shaker’s membership on the Group’s Executive Committee.
In addition to his new regional role, Eng. Shaker will become Chairman of Orange Egypt starting August 1, 2025.
During his leadership at Orange Egypt, Eng. Shaker guided the company through a major transformation that revived growth, restored profitability, and reinforced Orange’s position in Egypt’s competitive telecom market.
Orange Middle East and Africa, encompassing operations in 18 countries, stands as one of Orange Group’s most dynamic regions and key growth drivers.
This leadership change underscores Orange’s confidence in Eng. Shaker’s 28 years of industry expertise and his proven record of exceptional leadership.
