Mastercard and Jordan Islamic Bank Partner to Expand Shari’ah-Compliant Digital Payments

Mastercard and Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) have formed a strategic partnership to broaden access to Shari’ah-compliant digital payment solutions across Jordan. This collaboration aims to enhance JIB’s consumer card offerings by integrating Mastercard’s advanced payment technologies and advisory services tailored to Islamic banking principles.

Through the partnership, JIB plans to launch new digital card features that meet Shari’ah compliance, while developing innovative customer engagement platforms. The initiative focuses on providing secure, value-driven, and accessible digital financial services that align with Islamic finance guidelines.
