Valu and RoboGarden Egypt Partner to Support Flexible Payments for ‘Learn to Earn’ Digital Upskilling Program

Fintech leader Valu has partnered with RoboGarden Egypt, an AI-powered EdTech platform, to provide flexible payment options for the “Learn to Earn” initiative, a digital upskilling program targeting youth—especially women and people with disabilities—in Egypt.

Valu CEO Walid Hassouna stated, “As we expand beyond traditional buy-now-pay-later models, initiatives like ‘Learn to Earn’ allow us to channel financial tools toward meaningful, long-term impact.”

The program offers hybrid training designed to equip participants with job-ready skills such as web development. It promotes equal educational opportunity through a mix of self-paced content, live online sessions, and in-person workshops.

RoboGarden Egypt CEO and Co-founder Engy El Sabban highlighted the initiative’s mission to empower underserved youth with flexible career paths and remote work opportunities.

The program will host five cohorts of 25 participants each, totaling 125 trainees. Participants who complete 75% of the curriculum receive certificates, with progress monitored through analytics and assessments. Graduates gain pathways to employment or freelance work in Egypt’s growing digital economy.

With around 60% of Egyptian university graduates facing employment challenges due to a skills gap, RoboGarden emphasizes vocational training’s role in enhancing labor market competitiveness amid technological and economic changes.
