Ooredoo, Qatar’s leading telecom provider, supported 200 students aged 13 to 17 from public and private schools in the 2025 Cyber Security Youth Summer Camp. Co-organized by the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA), the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, and the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the camp is a key national initiative under the National Cyber Security Academy.
In its second edition, the camp offers interactive lectures, technical workshops, and field visits led by certified experts to equip youth with essential cybersecurity skills. Ooredoo’s sessions gave students firsthand insights into the company’s cybersecurity operations, highlighting its role in protecting Qatar’s critical digital infrastructure through advanced technologies and proactive threat detection.
Sabah Rabiah Al Kuwari, Ooredoo Qatar’s senior director of marketing communications, emphasized the company’s commitment to empowering young minds and contributing to Qatar’s long-term cybersecurity strategy.
This initiative aligns with Qatar National Vision 2030 by fostering digital literacy, youth development, and a secure, innovative digital society.
