Samsung Electronics Levant Signs MoU with University of Jordan to Enhance Tech Education and Innovation

Samsung Electronics Levant has formalized a strategic partnership with the University of Jordan through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aiming to align academic education with practical technology and elevate technical learning quality. The agreement was signed by Jongho Kang, President of Samsung Electronics Levant, and Dr. Nathir Obeidat, President of the University of Jordan, with officials from both sides present.

The partnership will integrate theoretical knowledge with hands-on application to prepare students for the digital job market. Samsung will update the Samsung Lab at the King Abdullah II School of Information Technology (KASIT), including modernizing the reading area to keep pace with technological advancements.

Samsung will also support the university’s 60th graduation ceremony by providing technical assistance such as high-resolution displays and advanced sound systems. A specialized service center and Samsung Experience Shop will be established on campus to facilitate direct student engagement with Samsung’s latest products.

Furthermore, both parties will collaborate on workshops, conferences, joint research teams, and student research initiatives in innovation and technology. Samsung’s Enhanced Partnership Program (EPP) will offer exclusive year-round discounts to university students and staff, reinforcing its commitment to youth empowerment and knowledge economy development in Jordan and the region.
