Zain Bahrain Reports 7.3% Revenue Growth and 4.8% Profit Increase in H1 2025

Zain Bahrain, a leading telecommunications innovator in the Kingdom, announced its financial results for Q2 and the first half of 2025. The company reported a total profit attributable to shareholders of BD 1.37 million for Q2 2025, up 1% from BD 1.35 million in Q2 2024. Earnings per share remained steady at 4 fils. Revenue grew 6.9% to BD 20.24 million, while EBITDA fell 6.3% to BD 5.71 million.

For the six months ending June 30, 2025, Zain Bahrain’s profit rose 4.8% to BD 2.54 million, with stable earnings per share of 7 fils. Revenue increased 7.3% to BD 41.25 million, while EBITDA decreased by 5.9% to BD 11.09 million.

The company’s balance sheet remains strong, with total equity at BD 87.19 million and assets at BD 133.32 million as of June 2025.

Chairman His Excellency Shaikh Ahmed bin Ali Al Khalifa highlighted Zain’s robust growth, crediting the company’s forward-looking strategy and commitment to innovation. He underscored significant advancements in digital services through AI integration, driving efficiency and informed decision-making.

Zain Bahrain is expanding its enterprise offerings, securing major ICT deals, and fostering an inclusive workplace with updated building designs. The company maintains a 93% Bahrainization rate and has trained and employed over 3,000 Bahraini youths.

The innovative microfinance app, Bede, continues to expand its reach, enabling customers to secure funding rapidly. The company’s customer-centric approach embraces new technologies and actively incorporates user feedback to enhance digital experiences.
