Muscat-based startup ZabonEx, providing a SaaS predictive analytics platform for food and beverage (F&B) businesses, has secured $100,000 in pre-seed funding. The round was led by Oman Future Fund and ITHCA Group, both key supporters of early-stage innovation in Oman.
Launched in 2024 by founders Hatim Moosa and Mohannad Al Balushi, ZabonEx offers real-time, customer-level demand forecasting to help F&B producers, distributors, and retailers optimize inventory and reduce waste. The company is committed to fostering sustainable and eco-friendly practices within the industry.
The funding will be used to enhance ZabonEx’s prediction engine, grow its technical team, and build a customized onboarding toolkit to better integrate with Oman’s complex food supply chain.
