Zain Kuwait Partners with Lei Wa Lakom to Promote Financial Literacy and Community Empowerment

Zain Kuwait has announced a strategic partnership with Lei Wa Lakom, a non-profit focused on financial education and community development. The collaboration aims to advance sustainability and empower individuals locally and regionally.

The agreement was signed at Zain’s Shuwaikh headquarters by Waleed Al-Khashti, Zain’s Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, and Taiba Al-Humaidhi, Lei Wa Lakom’s founder. Both emphasized their shared vision of building financially aware and resilient communities.

Key initiatives under this partnership include Lei Wa Lakom’s Financial Education Program featuring workshops and a digital learning tool, and the development of a national Financial Literacy Index with academic partners like the London School of Economics. The partnership also supports cultural projects such as the Sidra platform and an animated financial awareness series for Kuwait TV and digital platforms.

Additionally, the Zanzibar Library Project aims to establish an integrated cultural and educational center serving over 200 families, including a library, Quran recitation center, and water well.

This partnership aligns with Zain’s commitment to youth empowerment, education, and inclusive growth, supporting Kuwait’s human capital development goals and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
