Telenor Velocity, the startup accelerator by Telenor Pakistan, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FitHer, a women-led health and wellness startup and graduate of NIC Islamabad. This partnership marks a strategic effort to foster digital health innovation focused on women’s wellness in Pakistan.
Under the MoU, FitHer will join the Telenor Velocity acceleration program, receiving expert support to enhance app design, business strategy, and leadership development. Telenor Velocity will also assist FitHer in integrating with its digital health platform, aligning both organizations’ missions to promote women’s health through technology.
The signing ceremony at Telenor Pakistan’s Islamabad headquarters was attended by Telenor CEO Khurrum Ashfaque, Chief People Officer Areej Khan, FitHer CEO Dr. Shaista Khalid, and senior representatives from both parties.
Areej Khan highlighted the partnership as part of Telenor’s commitment to leveraging technology for inclusive innovation that addresses women’s unique health needs. Dr. Shaista Khalid described FitHer as more than a fitness app—a comprehensive platform supporting women at every life stage—and expressed optimism about expanding its impact through the collaboration.
