His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, issued Edict (52) of 2025 today concerning the transfer and appointment of several directors within the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, following a proposal from the Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications.
The key directives include:
- Abdulla Hassan Ishaq Al Qadhi, previously Director of Aviation Safety and Security, is transferred to become Director of the Air Transport Directorate, succeeding Ibtisam Mohammed Al Shamlan.
- Ahmed Yousif Mohammed Al Malki is appointed Director of Aviation Safety and Security, succeeding Abdulla Hassan Ishaq Al Qadhi.
- Mazin Mohammed Ghulam Al Balooshi is appointed Director of Ports Operations and Technical Services, succeeding Mohammed Ibrahim Al Humaidi.
- Talal Alawi Hassan Al Alawi is appointed Director of Commercial Affairs and Logistics Zones, succeeding Salman Nabeel Mohammed Shakeeb.
- Adel Najat Haidar Mohammed Hassan is appointed Director of Ship Registry and Seamen Affairs, succeeding Mayas Al Moataz Billah Al Agha.
- Dr. Salah Hassan Saad Al Hassan is appointed Director of Maritime Safety Directorate.
The Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications is responsible for implementing this edict, which takes effect immediately and will be published in the Official Gazette.
