Huawei Cloud Hosts Saudi Arabia 2025 Developer Conference to Empower Local Digital Talent

Huawei Cloud, in partnership with the Center for Digital Entrepreneurship (CODE) and NAUATECH, hosted the Saudi Arabia 2025 Huawei Cloud Developer Conference at CODE’s headquarters in Riyadh. The event marks a major milestone in Huawei’s commitment to nurturing local digital talent and accelerating Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 digital transformation agenda.

Bringing together developers, entrepreneurs, and startup leaders from across the Kingdom, the conference showcased Huawei Cloud’s expanding portfolio of AI-powered and cloud-native development tools. The event emphasized building a robust developer ecosystem and strengthening the country’s digital infrastructure in line with the rapidly evolving digital economy.

Key highlights included specialized training sessions and introductions to flagship initiatives such as the Huawei Cloud Developer Program (HCDP), Huawei Cloud Startup Program, and Huawei Cloud Certified Developer for AI (HCCDX). These programs offer a blend of technical training, business mentorship, and international certifications aimed at helping Saudi developers scale innovative solutions and enhance career prospects.

Huawei reaffirmed its long-term commitment to Saudi Arabia by announcing plans to expand its cloud services from over 90 to more than 200 offerings, supported by three Availability Zones in the Riyadh Region. The company also earned the “Class C” certification from Saudi Arabia’s Communications, Space & Technology Commission (CST), the highest rating for cloud platforms in the country, underscoring its compliance with stringent security, performance, and reliability standards.

The conference featured demonstrations of Huawei’s latest AI and software platforms, including ModelArts, an AI development platform that reduces deployment time from months to days. ModelArts supports applications in smart cities, digital humans, and smart universities, positioning Huawei as a leader in AI deployment in the region.

Huawei also showcased CodeArts, a unified DevSecOps platform supporting over 20 programming languages. CodeArts facilitates secure and efficient cloud migration with features like code scanning and integration, aimed at enhancing the development experience for enterprises and startups.

Real-world case studies from partners such as Systems Arabia, FanRuan, Dyna.AI, and NAS Solutions highlighted how Huawei Cloud’s AI-driven tools have accelerated innovation and scaled operations.
