NetApp Appoints Saeed Al-Zahrani as General Manager for Saudi Arabia to Drive Digital Transformation

NetApp, a leader in intelligent data infrastructure, has appointed Saeed Al-Zahrani as General Manager for Saudi Arabia, strengthening its commitment to the Kingdom’s digital transformation goals. In his new role, Al-Zahrani will lead NetApp’s local strategy, deepen partnerships across public and private sectors, and help customers unlock greater value from their data.

With nearly 20 years of experience in Saudi Arabia’s technology landscape, Al-Zahrani has held senior leadership positions at Nutanix, Solutions by stc, Oracle, LinkedIn, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. He is known for championing customer-centric innovation, digital transformation, and operational excellence, enabling both public and private sector organizations to adopt technology strategically.

“Saeed’s strategic vision, deep customer relationships, and passion for execution make him the perfect leader to scale our business in Saudi Arabia,” said Suhail Hasanain, Senior Director & General Manager, Middle East & Africa at NetApp. “His appointment reinforces our long-term commitment to supporting the Kingdom’s economic diversification and digital transformation agendas.”

Al-Zahrani joins as NetApp expands its regional presence following the opening of its Riyadh headquarters earlier this year. His leadership will be pivotal in delivering tailored solutions to sectors including energy, healthcare, and smart cities. NetApp supports the Kingdom’s ambition to become a leading digital economy by enabling secure hybrid cloud environments and real-time data insights.

Aligned with its regional priorities, NetApp remains dedicated to nurturing local talent, fostering innovation, and building sustainable partnerships with government bodies, enterprises, and academic institutions across Saudi Arabia.
