SAP SE Appoints Augusta Spinelli as Regional President for EMEA

SAP SE has named Augusta Spinelli as the new Regional President for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), effective immediately. Spinelli will lead SAP’s operations across 53 offices in 89 countries, reinforcing the region as a key global growth driver for the company.

The EMEA region under her leadership includes BeNeLux, France, Italy, Nordic & Baltics, Southern Europe, the UK & Ireland, and the Middle East and Africa. The 26 countries of SAP Middle & Eastern Europe (MEE), including Germany, Switzerland, and Central and Eastern Europe, are managed separately.

Spinelli succeeds Manos Raptopoulos, who now serves as SAP’s Chief Revenue Officer for APAC, EMEA, and MEE. Raptopoulos praised Spinelli as a dynamic leader with deep industry expertise and a strong record of driving digital transformation globally.

With over 30 years of global experience, Spinelli most recently served as EVP and Global Head of SAP’s Adoption Services Center, championing large-scale adoption of SAP solutions. She joined SAP in 2001 and has held numerous leadership roles in sales and delivery across diverse markets. She holds a master’s degree in Industrial Technology and Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and is based in Dubai.

Spinelli expressed excitement about leading the talented SAP EMEA team, highlighting the region’s diversity and opportunity. She plans to advance SAP’s AI-first, Suite-first strategy in close collaboration with SAP’s ecosystem, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and trust.
